Mid-Century Modern Pied-a-terre
The project involves two distinct interior design themes for Zahi Hawass, a distinguished archaeologist and Egyptologist known for his passion for ancient Egyptian culture. For the living and dining room, the inspiration comes from a pharaoh picture, focusing on black and gold colors to blend ancient Egyptian elegance with modern comfort. The design will feature classy black walls and large furniture, complemented by gold accents for a luxurious touch. Comfortable yet sophisticated furniture, gold-detail lighting, and pharaoh-themed artwork are planned to create a space that is both rich in history and cozy. The second theme for the office and bedroom is inspired by the desert, aiming to evoke a peaceful oasis with nude and olive green colors. This space will have a nomadic vibe, simple furniture, and use natural materials like wood and stone to mimic the desert environment, all designed in a minimalist style with cozy textures to ensure a serene atmosphere. Both designs reflect Mr. Hawass’s dynamic personality and his deep connection to Egyptian heritage, tailored to his unique tastes and lifestyle.
